The UFO was the vehicle for Burnaboy Boy’s dramatic entrance at the opening gig of his Space Drift world tour. It “flew” around the O2 arena and landed on the stage allowing him to emerge from it to rapturous applause. MDM Props tasked me with making the fabric element of this giant prop. One of the challenges was that it had to be assembled and disassembled in a very short space of time involving a complex frame which had to be both sturdy and lightweight.
