The brief was to create works on the themes of different art movements for each deck to help passengers orientate themselves on board. I created a series of footwear whose silhouettes were all in the style of the fashion of the era of each art movement and decorated in the style of that movement.
This Expressionist themed shoe was inspired by a painting by Franz Marc, one of the German expressionists. Taking the 1920s style, it was made using vibrant silks.
